Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute engaging and informative tours of Rockfort, Kingston, and surrounding areas.
- Share comprehensive knowledge of Jamaica’s history, culture, natural environment, and contemporary life with tour participants.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all tour participants throughout the duration of the tour.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing participant inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Manage tour logistics, including transportation coordination, timing, and arrangement of necessary permits or entry tickets.
- Adapt tour content and pace to suit the interests, mobility, and demographics of diverse groups.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events, and relevant historical or cultural developments.
- Handle minor issues or emergencies efficiently and effectively, always prioritizing guest satisfaction and safety.
- Collect feedback from tour participants to continuously improve tour quality and guest experiences.
- Represent Career.zycto with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a deep respect for Jamaican heritage.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication and storytelling abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of Rockfort, Kingston's history, culture, geography, and points of interest.
- Proven experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license (Class 3 or higher) and a clean driving record, if driving is part of the tour logistics.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
