Key Responsibilities

  • Assist trainers and program managers with the preparation and setup of training rooms and equipment, including audiovisual aids and presentation materials.
  • Manage and organize training materials, handouts, and participant kits before, during, and after sessions.
  • Provide administrative support for training programs, including scheduling, participant registration, attendance tracking, and maintaining program records.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for participants, addressing inquiries and providing logistical assistance during training sessions.
  • Coordinate catering arrangements and ensure facilities are clean, organized, and conducive to learning.
  • Assist with post-training activities such as collecting feedback, compiling evaluation data, and preparing completion certificates.
  • Maintain inventory of training supplies and materials, reordering as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all program requirements are met and communicated effectively.
  • Support the continuous improvement of training programs by providing feedback and observations.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in administration, education, or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative support, coordination, or assistant role.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general office software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a customer-service oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a training, education, or human resources environment.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other training management software.
