Key Responsibilities
- Operate tram vehicles safely and efficiently according to prescribed routes and timetables.
- Adhere strictly to all operational procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct pre-service vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers, including assisting those with special needs.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing clear and concise information regarding routes, stops, and delays.
- Maintain radio contact with the control centre to report incidents, delays, or emergencies.
- Handle ticketing and fare collection procedures, if applicable.
- Respond calmly and professionally to unexpected situations or emergencies on board.
- Complete accurate daily operational logs and incident reports.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving licence (Category B minimum, additional categories beneficial)
