Key Responsibilities
- Assist in translating various documents (technical, marketing, legal) from source to target languages, ensuring accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Support senior translators and documentation specialists in terminology research and management.
- Contribute to maintaining and updating translation memories and glossaries for consistency.
- Review and proofread translated content for linguistic accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to style guides.
- Learn and effectively utilize translation memory software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) and content management systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality localized content.
- Participate in quality assurance processes for all translated and documented materials.
- Assist in documenting translation processes and best practices guidelines.
- Learn to identify and resolve linguistic and technical issues in translated content.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one other language (e.g., French, Spanish, Mandarin).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a meticulous approach to work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
