Key Responsibilities
- Translate a wide range of documents (e.g., technical, marketing, legal, internal communications) from English into specified target languages and vice-versa, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and adherence to brand voice.
- Proofread and edit translated materials to guarantee grammatical correctness, stylistic consistency, and overall quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, customer support) to understand project requirements and linguistic nuances.
- Manage translation memory (TM) and terminology databases to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
- Conduct linguistic quality assurance (LQA) reviews on translations provided by external vendors.
- Provide real-time translation support for meetings, presentations, or urgent communications when required.
- Stay updated with linguistic trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance translation quality and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Fluency in English and at least two other languages (written and spoken), with a strong command of grammar, syntax, and style.
- Proven experience in professional translation, preferably within a corporate or technical environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate translations.
- Proficiency with CAT tools (e.g., Trados Studio, MemoQ, Memsource) and translation memory management.
- Strong research skills for terminology verification and cultural context.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Modern Languages, or a related field.
