Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily planning, scheduling, and coordination of transport routes and vehicle movements.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, logistics partners, and clients regarding pick-ups, deliveries, and potential delays.
- Monitor the status of deliveries and transport operations, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date transport records, including driver logs, vehicle maintenance schedules, and delivery confirmations.
- Process and verify transport-related documentation, such as waybills, invoices, and permits.
- Provide administrative support to the transport department, including data entry, filing, and report generation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant transportation safety regulations.
- Support inventory tracking and management as it pertains to goods in transit.
- Generate regular reports on transport performance, fuel consumption, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the transport and logistics functions.
Required Skills
- Minimum of one (1) year of proven experience in a logistics support, administrative, or similar coordination role.
