Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Dispatcher in daily route planning and vehicle scheduling.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and potential delays.
  • Monitor vehicle locations and progress using GPS tracking systems.
  • Answer incoming calls and emails from drivers, clients, and internal departments.
  • Process and manage transportation documentation, including delivery orders and manifests.
  • Maintain accurate records of driver activities, vehicle maintenance, and dispatch logs.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues and logistical challenges as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Prepare daily reports on dispatch activities and operational performance.
