Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Logistics Clerk to join our bustling team in Jericho, Ibadan. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule transportation services, including route planning and vehicle assignment.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, such as waybills, manifests, and customs forms.
- Track and monitor shipments from dispatch to delivery, providing real-time updates and resolving transit issues.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, suppliers, and internal departments regarding logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring data integrity in our logistics system.
- Assist with inventory management and control, reconciling stock levels with transportation records.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or delays in shipments promptly.
- Support the logistics team in various administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistical efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics, transportation, or supply chain role.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
