Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating daily transportation schedules, routes, and dispatches.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Monitor shipment status and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Enter and maintain accurate data within the transportation management system (TMS).
- Resolve basic transportation issues, such as delays or missed pickups, under supervision.
- Prepare and process transportation documentation, including bills of lading and shipping manifests.
- Support the optimization of logistics processes and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain strong customer service relationships by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
