Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget to create tailored travel packages.
- Research, price, and book flights, accommodations, car rentals, tours, cruises, and other travel components using various booking systems.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel restrictions, visa requirements, and travel insurance.
- Manage client accounts, process payments, and handle all necessary documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactively communicate with clients before, during, and after their trips, addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new destinations, supplier promotions, and technological advancements in travel.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals through exceptional service and relationship building.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar travel-related sales role.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a client portfolio effectively from a home office environment.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in using travel booking systems (e.g., GDS, CRM tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
