Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process travel bookings for flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other travel-related services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist clients with itinerary changes, cancellations, and special requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve booking issues, travel disruptions, and customer complaints efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, destination information, and supplier policies.
  • Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and various booking platforms proficiently to secure reservations.
  • Document all customer interactions and booking details accurately within our CRM and booking systems.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a travel agency, airline, or hospitality booking role.
  • Proficiency in French and English (bilingualism) for communication with clients across Canada.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with at least one major GDS (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, Worldspan) or other online booking tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma or certificate in Travel & Tourism.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
  • Proven track record of exceeding customer service expectations.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
