Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive theoretical and practical training programs for commercial truck driving.
- Instruct trainees on safe driving practices, traffic laws, vehicle inspection, maintenance, and load securement.
- Conduct hands-on, behind-the-wheel training in various driving conditions, including urban, rural, and highway environments.
- Evaluate trainee performance through written exams, practical assessments, and driving evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to trainees, guiding them through challenges and celebrating successes.
- Prepare trainees for obtaining or upgrading their commercial driving licenses (e.g., Class 1/Heavy Goods Vehicle).
- Maintain accurate records of trainee progress, attendance, and assessment results.
- Stay updated on the latest industry regulations, safety standards, and driving technologies.
- Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning among all drivers.
- Assist in the development and refinement of training curriculum and materials.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 1 (Heavy Goods Vehicle) Commercial Driving License with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrable experience as a professional truck driver.
- Prior experience in a training or instructional role (formal or informal).
- Thorough knowledge of Egyptian traffic laws and commercial vehicle regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
