Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and small group online tutoring sessions for college-level mathematics courses, including but not limited to Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I/II/III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Statistics.
- Provide clear, concise, and personalized explanations of mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.
- Review student assignments, homework, and test preparation materials, offering constructive feedback.
- Utilize online teaching tools and platforms effectively to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
- Monitor and track student progress, adapting tutoring methods to meet individual learning needs and goals.
- Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment, encouraging student participation and confidence.
- Adhere to scheduled tutoring appointments and manage time efficiently.
- Communicate regularly with Career.zycto staff regarding student progress and any platform-related issues.
Required Skills
- Mastery of college-level mathematics (Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Statistics).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
- Proficiency with online communication and collaboration tools (e.g., video conferencing, digital whiteboards).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional remote workspace.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a flexible schedule.
