Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, customized lesson plans tailored to the student's specific academic goals and learning style.
- Provide one-on-one instruction in the student's home, ensuring a supportive and conducive learning environment.
- Assess student progress regularly through various methods, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Effectively communicate student progress, challenges, and achievements with parents/guardians, maintaining transparency and collaboration.
- Help students develop effective study habits, organizational skills, and test-taking strategies.
- Prepare students thoroughly for upcoming exams, assignments, and academic challenges.
- Stay updated with relevant curriculum changes (e.g., CBC, IGCSE, 8-4-4) to ensure content relevance and accuracy.
- Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tutoring or teaching experience.
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic subjects (e.g., Mathematics, English, Sciences, Humanities).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students and parents.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex concepts and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education and student development.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
