Tropical Battery Company Limited is actively seeking a talented and innovative UI Designer to join our growing digital team based in Bog Walk, Saint Catherine Parish. Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces for web, mobile, and other digital platforms, ensuring a consistent and strong brand experience.
- Develop detailed wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas to stakeholders.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts, iteratively refining designs based on feedback and user testing.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, software developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective UI designs.
- Maintain and evolve comprehensive design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across all digital products.
- Stay abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies, actively advocating for best practices and innovative solutions within the team.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather actionable insights and validate design decisions, making data-driven improvements to user interfaces.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in leading design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI design projects, including experience with web and mobile applications.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale effectively.
- Demonstrated experience with responsive design principles and creating interfaces optimized for various screen sizes and devices.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience with motion graphics or animation for UI elements.
