Job Description
Are you a creative and empathetic UI/UX Designer passionate about crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences? Mazowe Citrus Estates is seeking a talented Full-Time UI/UX Designer with flexible hours to join our growing technology team in Mazowe, Mashonaland Central Province. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors across various internal and external platforms.
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for internal applications, agricultural management systems, and web interfaces.
- Translate conceptual ideas into concrete design solutions that meet user requirements and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and implementation.
- Conduct usability testing to identify and resolve UI/UX issues, gather feedback, and iterate on designs.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards within the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in UI/UX design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX design projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience working in an agricultural, industrial, or enterprise software environment.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints.
- Experience with animation and micro-interactions.
