Job Description
Are you a curious mind, passionate about understanding human behaviour and translating insights into impactful product decisions? Do you thrive in a remote environment, leveraging digital tools to connect with users and uncover their unmet needs? Career.zycto is seeking a talented and experienced Remote User Research Analyst to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital offerings, working entirely from the comfort of your home base in Bristol, England, while collaborating with a diverse and distributed team.
In this role, you will be the steadfast voice of our users, driving the research agenda from initial problem discovery to post-launch evaluation. You’ll meticulously design and execute a variety of research methods tailored to specific project goals, including moderated and unmoderated usability testing, in-depth interviews, ethnographic studies, surveys, card sorting, tree testing, and contextual inquiries. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying user pain points, understanding motivations, validating hypotheses, and providing actionable, data-backed recommendations that directly inform our product roadmap, design solutions, and development priorities. You’ll work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers, embedding user understanding at every stage of the product lifecycle.
We are looking for someone who isn’t just a meticulous researcher but also an excellent storyteller and strategic thinker. You’ll expertly synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative data, transforming raw observations into clear, compelling narratives and strategic insights that resonate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Your ability to communicate insights effectively, coupled with a proactive approach to identifying research opportunities and advocating for user-centric solutions, will be key to your success. This position offers the autonomy to manage your research projects and the support of a collaborative team that values innovation and impact. If you are passionate about user advocacy, possess a strong analytical toolkit, are adept at navigating the nuances of remote collaboration, and are eager to make a tangible difference in a dynamic setting, we encourage you to apply and help us build experiences that truly matter to our global user base.
