Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet beneficiaries, community members, and visitors with a friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor.
- Provide clear directions, guidance, and basic information to various locations within event venues, distribution sites, or community centers.
- Assist in managing queues and ensuring an orderly, safe flow of people during events, workshops, distributions, or registration processes.
- Distribute informational materials, pamphlets, surveys, or other relevant documents as instructed by team leads.
- Respond to basic inquiries and direct more complex questions or specific needs to appropriate Oxfam staff members or supervisors.
- Monitor designated areas for safety and security concerns, reporting any potential risks, incidents, or issues promptly to supervisors.
- Assist with the physical setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging chairs, tables, signage, and communication materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in designated areas throughout the duration of activities.
- Adhere strictly to all Oxfam safety, security, safeguarding, and operational policies and procedures at all times.
- Collaborate effectively and respectfully with team members, local partners, and other staff to ensure successful and impactful event execution.

- Fluency in local languages (e.g., Makhuwa, Makonde, Swahili) in addition to Portuguese.
- Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Basic understanding of humanitarian principles and aid distribution processes.
