Job Description
As a UX Designer at Career.zycto, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience of our cutting-edge products, directly influencing how our users interact with and benefit from our innovations. In this role, you will lead the design process from initial user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability studies, through to concept development, detailed wireframing, interactive prototyping, and comprehensive user testing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to translate intricate business requirements and user needs into compelling and accessible user interfaces. Your expertise in user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design will be critical in ensuring our products are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, accessible, and delightful to use for a diverse user base. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to deeply understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
- Translate research findings into actionable insights, user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Collaborate proactively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and overall user experience.
- Design and deliver essential UX artifacts such as user stories, user journeys, personas, and information architecture diagrams.
- Iterate on designs rigorously based on user feedback, stakeholder input, usability testing results, and analytical data.
- Champion user-centered design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and best practices across the entire organization.
- Actively contribute to and maintain our evolving design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all products.
- Stay relentlessly up-to-date with the latest UX trends, tools, technologies, and methodologies in the industry.
- Present and articulate design decisions and solutions effectively to cross-functional teams, leadership, and external partners.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in leading design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure RP).
- Strong understanding and practical application of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and interaction design patterns.
- Proven experience with conducting various forms of user research, usability testing, and qualitative/quantitative data analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive wireframes, user flows, process flows, information architecture, and site maps.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing strong UX design skills, a clear design process, and a proven track record of delivering successful user experiences.
- Solid knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices to ensure products are usable by all.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Cognitive Science, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints and possibilities.
- Prior experience with design systems implementation, governance, and maintenance.
- Experience in SaaS, enterprise software design, or complex B2B applications.
