Job Description
Are you a visionary UX Designer with a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences? Career.zycto is seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our growing product team in Bothfeld, Hanover. As a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the usability, accessibility, and overall delight of our digital products, ensuring they meet both user needs and business objectives.
In this full-time on-site position, you will be instrumental in every stage of the product development lifecycle, from initial concept and research to final implementation and iteration. You will conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain deep insights into user behaviors, motivations, and pain points. These insights will be the foundation for creating intuitive user flows, compelling wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes that bring our product visions to life.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to uncover user needs and behaviors.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and information architecture to guide product strategy and design.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize and test design solutions.
- Design intuitive user flows and interaction patterns that enhance product usability and accessibility.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into effective design solutions.
- Present design concepts and articulate design decisions effectively to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytical data, and technical constraints.
- Ensure consistency in user experience and visual design across various product platforms and touchpoints.
- Stay abreast of the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design practices.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in leading UX design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with various user research techniques (interviews, surveys, usability testing).
- Ability to create compelling wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
- Excellent visual design skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and web accessibility standards.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing impactful UX design projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Knowledge of animation or motion design principles for enhancing user interactions.
- Professional proficiency in German is a plus.
