Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of various user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries.
- Help develop research materials such as discussion guides, test scripts, screeners, and consent forms.
- Support the recruitment and scheduling of research participants, ensuring diverse and relevant demographics.
- Observe and accurately document user behavior, comments, and interactions during research sessions.
- Contribute to the collection and organization of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Assist in the initial analysis of research data, identifying patterns, themes, and key insights.
- Help synthesize research findings and contribute to the creation of clear, concise, and actionable research reports and presentations.
- Maintain research databases, participant panels, and other organizational tools.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure research insights are integrated into the product development process.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging research methodologies, and UX trends.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated strong interest and foundational understanding of UX research, user-centered design, or human-computer interaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate observations clearly.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, crucial for managing data and logistics.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
