Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, preparing, and executing various user research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and card sorts.
- Support the recruitment of study participants, managing schedules and communication effectively.
- Help develop research materials such as discussion guides, questionnaires, interview scripts, and usability test scenarios.
- Actively participate in conducting research sessions, taking detailed notes, and observing user interactions.
- Contribute to the synthesis and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, identifying key themes, patterns, and insights.
- Prepare clear and concise summaries, presentations, and reports of research findings for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and organize research documentation, data repositories, and participant databases securely and ethically.
- Collaborate effectively with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate research insights into design and development.
- Learn and adhere to best practices in ethical research, data privacy, and consent management.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the UX team.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and core UX research methodologies.
- Familiarity with data collection and basic analytical tools (e.g., spreadsheet software, survey platforms).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work effectively, both independently and as a contributing member of a team.
