Job Description
Career.zycto is on the lookout for a talented and passionate UX Researcher with a keen eye for product testing to join our vibrant team in Nyeri. As a UX Researcher focusing on product testing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our digital products are not only functional but also intuitive, enjoyable, and truly meet the needs of our diverse user base. Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute various UX research studies, including usability testing, interviews, focus groups, surveys, and ethnographic studies.
- Conduct thorough product testing to identify usability issues, bugs, and areas for improvement in existing and new features.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to extract actionable insights about user behavior, needs, and motivations.
- Translate complex research findings into clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations for various stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and engineering teams to integrate user insights into the product development process.
- Develop user personas, user journeys, and other research artifacts to communicate user understanding across the organization.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring a user-centric approach in all design and development decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX research trends, tools, and methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our research processes and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative UX research methodologies (e.g., usability testing, interviews, surveys, A/B testing).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience with various UX research tools (e.g., user testing platforms, survey tools, analytics software).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting research findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Empathy and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in UX research, specifically with product testing experience.

- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
