Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport goods and packages across designated routes within York and surrounding areas.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading items, ensuring goods are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow planned routes and schedules, adapting to unforeseen delays or changes while maintaining delivery efficiency.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, complete paperwork, and utilize tracking devices as required.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients, ensuring excellent service and representing Career.zycto positively.
- Adhere strictly to all UK traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash or process payments upon delivery when necessary, following established procedures.

Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License (Category B) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Van Driver, ideally with 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of local road networks in York and surrounding regions.
- Strong navigation skills, including the use of GPS and mapping applications.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely.
