As a Vehicle Technician, you will be at the forefront of vehicle maintenance and repair, working with a diverse range of modern vehicles, from routine servicing to complex diagnostic challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Execute routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.
- Conduct complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on engines, transmissions, differentials, steering, suspension, and braking systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, modules, and diagnostic fault codes.
- Adhere strictly to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines during all repair and maintenance tasks.
- Accurately document all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and identified issues.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status, repair recommendations, and estimated timelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with new automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including gasoline and diesel engines, automatic and manual transmissions, braking systems (ABS), electrical systems, and HVAC.
- Proficiency in using modern diagnostic scanning tools and equipment (e.g., Snap-on, Autel, dealership-specific tools).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
- Valid UAE Driving License.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical diploma or certification in Automotive Technology.
- Certifications from recognized automotive bodies (e.g., ASE, manufacturer-specific training).
- Experience with luxury or European vehicle brands.
- Basic computer proficiency for accessing repair data and managing digital documentation.
