Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce engaging short-form video content (reels, stories, TikToks) for various social media platforms, optimizing for each platform's unique requirements.
- Develop and execute creative concepts for video campaigns, aligning with OK Zimbabwe's marketing objectives and brand identity.
- Edit longer-form promotional videos, documentaries, and corporate communications as required, ensuring high production value.
- Incorporate motion graphics, special effects, sound design, and music to enhance video quality and storytelling.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas, develop storyboards, and refine video scripts.
- Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project deadlines.
- Stay abreast of the latest video editing software, techniques, and social media video trends.
- Provide creative input and recommendations for improving video content and overall digital media strategy.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to deliver polished final products.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) and their respective content best practices.
- Demonstrable experience in creating compelling short-form video content and reels.
- Excellent sense of pacing, timing, and visual storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
