Key Responsibilities

  • Assist video editors with project setup, media ingestion, and organization of assets.
  • Perform basic video editing tasks such as logging footage, creating selects, and rough cuts under supervision.
  • Ensure all media files are correctly named, tagged, and archived according to established protocols.
  • Transcode and convert video files to various formats as required.
  • Conduct quality control checks on exported videos to identify and correct technical issues.
  • Manage and maintain video equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and available for use.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, documentation, and communication with internal teams.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in video editing.
  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues related to editing software or hardware.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of video editing principles and post-production workflow.
  • Familiarity with at least one major video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
