Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a talented and highly motivated Full-Time Video Editor to join our vibrant marketing and content team in Hawthorn, Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video. You will be instrumental in conceptualising, producing, and editing engaging video content that supports our employer branding initiatives, candidate attraction campaigns, client success stories, and internal communications. From initial raw footage to final polished product, you will leverage your expertise in editing, motion graphics, and sound design to craft visually stunning and impactful videos that resonate with our diverse audience. Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content for various platforms (website, social media, presentations, internal use).
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, content strategists, and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and creative vision.
  • Apply advanced editing techniques, including colour correction, audio mixing, visual effects, and motion graphics, to enhance video quality.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with Career.zycto's brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Manage and organise all media assets, maintaining a well-structured and accessible library.
  • Research and integrate relevant music, sound effects, and stock footage/graphics to elevate productions.
  • Provide creative input and suggestions throughout the production process, from concept development to post-production.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in video editing and production.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within set deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated experience in video editing, storytelling, and post-production techniques.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and optimisation for various platforms.
  • Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with 2D/3D motion graphics and animation.
