As our Videographer – Weddings & Promotions, you will be instrumental in all stages of video production, from initial client consultation and concept development to on-site filming and meticulous post-production. You’ll work closely with couples to document their special day, ensuring every tear, laugh, and dance move is preserved beautifully. Simultaneously, you’ll collaborate with businesses to produce engaging promotional videos, advertisements, and corporate content that truly resonate with their target audience and elevate their brand presence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute all aspects of video production for weddings, including pre-wedding consultations, on-site filming, and post-production editing.
- Plan, storyboard, shoot, and edit high-quality promotional videos, corporate content, and advertisements for various business clients.
- Manage and maintain video equipment, ensuring all gear is in excellent working condition and up-to-date with industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and brand guidelines, providing creative input and professional guidance.
- Conduct thorough post-production, including video editing, color correction/grading, sound design, and motion graphics, using professional software.
- Deliver final video products on time and to the highest quality standards, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to agreed-upon specifications.
- Scout and assess filming locations, managing logistics and technical setups for optimal results.
- Stay updated with the latest videography trends, techniques, and equipment to continually enhance output quality and efficiency.
- Archive and manage footage and project files efficiently for future reference and client access.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing both wedding and promotional content.
- Proficiency with professional video cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, Cinema Cameras) and associated equipment (lenses, gimbals, drones, audio recorders).
- Expert-level knowledge of video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques, composition, and audio recording principles for various environments.
- Excellent storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- A valid UK driving license and access to reliable transportation for travel to various locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related creative field.
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects.
- Familiarity with photography, particularly event photography.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media video best practices.
- Experience managing client relationships from initial contact to final delivery.
