Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and thorough patrols of premises, both internal and external, during assigned night shifts.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems diligently, responding promptly and appropriately to any alerts or suspicious activities.
- Control access to the property, verifying identification and ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Maintain detailed and accurate daily logs of activities, incidents, and observations during the shift.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches, following established protocols.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
- Report all incidents, unusual occurrences, and security breaches to management in a timely and comprehensive manner.
- Provide assistance and information to staff and visitors as required, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Undertake occasional searches of individuals and vehicles, in accordance with company policy and legal guidelines.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary and provide evidence or statements as required during investigations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar security-related role.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and interacting with personnel.
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment and security systems effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during emergencies.
- Physical fitness and stamina to conduct patrols and stand for extended periods.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
