Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with the accurate completion of various visa and immigration application forms.
- Gather, organize, and review all required supporting documentation, ensuring completeness and adherence to specific visa requirements.
- Liaise with clients to request missing information and clarify details, maintaining professional and empathetic communication.
- Prepare and compile application packages for submission to relevant immigration authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration policies, procedures, and relevant legislative changes.
- Track the status of applications and communicate updates to clients and internal teams.
- Manage and organize client files, both physical and electronic, ensuring strict confidentiality and data security.
- Schedule client appointments and consultations as needed.
- Provide administrative support to Immigration Consultants, including data entry, correspondence, and report generation.
- Identify and flag potential issues or discrepancies in applications to senior staff for timely resolution.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in an immigration, legal, or similar professional services environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Legal Administration, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with immigration software or case management systems.
- Basic understanding of Canadian immigration categories and application processes.
