Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas for service, including setting tables, polishing cutlery and glassware, and ensuring all condiments are stocked.
- Assist waiters with taking orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and back-of-house areas throughout service.
- Replenish supplies, including napkins, sauces, and other dining essentials, as needed.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously, escalating complex issues to the waiter or supervisor.
- Support the kitchen staff by ensuring timely delivery of food to tables and assisting with dishwashing when required.
- Learn and adhere to all resort policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with the entire food and beverage team to ensure a cohesive and positive dining experience.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling event spaces for private functions or special dining events.
- Communicate guest feedback and observations to the team to continuously improve service quality.

- Knowledge of basic food and beverage service etiquette.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to speak Sesotho is an advantage.
