Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary requirements are communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to all service standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to inquiries, and address any concerns swiftly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash and card transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Restock cutlery, glassware, and condiments as needed.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and clearing down the restaurant and lounge.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven customer service experience in a hospitality setting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate order taking and cash handling
