Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems, and relaying information to the kitchen/bar efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring presentation meets established standards.
- Monitor dining area for cleanliness and guest needs, clearing tables and resetting as required.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with a polite and helpful demeanor, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergen information to assist guests with informed choices.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and responsible alcohol service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
