Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting and seating guests upon their arrival, making them feel at home.
- Presenting menus clearly, explaining daily specials, and confidently making recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Taking accurate food and drink orders using our advanced POS system and relaying them precisely to the kitchen and bar.
- Serving food and beverages promptly, efficiently, and elegantly, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Anticipating guest needs and responding to requests in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout service, including clearing dishes and refilling drinks.
- Handling payment transactions and processing bills accurately and securely.
- Collaborating effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting dining area and workstation at all times.
- Adhering strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
- Actively listening to guest feedback and addressing concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent customer service and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and active listening.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail, precision in order taking, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Familiarity with modern POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Impeccable personal grooming and professional presentation.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays.
