Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests, present menus, and inform them of daily specials, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring high standards of presentation and hygiene.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions, adhering to company financial procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised dining area, including setting and clearing tables, refilling condiments, and assisting with general restaurant upkeep.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as health and safety policies.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including restocking supplies and preparing for the next service.
- Handle customer feedback professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Upsell menu items and special promotions where appropriate, enhancing the guest experience and driving sales.
