Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Dispatcher Aide to join our team in Moatize, Tete Province. This full-time position is crucial for the efficient flow of goods within our robust supply chain network. As a Warehouse Dispatcher Aide, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily dispatch operations, ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and delivered on schedule. You will be at the heart of coordinating communications between warehouse staff, drivers, and clients, contributing directly to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily coordination and scheduling of outgoing shipments and deliveries, ensuring optimal route planning and vehicle utilization.
  • Prepare, review, and accurately process all necessary shipping documentation, including waybills, manifests, packing lists, and invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with drivers, warehouse personnel, and external clients to provide updates, address inquiries, and resolve any dispatch-related issues or delays promptly.
  • Utilize tracking systems to monitor the status of outgoing shipments, providing real-time information and making adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all dispatch activities, including shipment details, driver logs, and delivery confirmations, ensuring data integrity for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Support the resolution of logistical challenges, such as unexpected delays, vehicle breakdowns, or documentation discrepancies, by collaborating with relevant teams.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and operational procedures within the warehouse and dispatch areas.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation efforts by comparing dispatch records with stock levels to identify and report discrepancies.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the dispatch team, contributing to a well-organized and efficient workflow.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, for data entry, reporting, and document creation.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese, enabling clear interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • A basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of proven experience in a dispatch, logistics, or administrative support role.
  • Familiarity with logistics software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of local geography and transport routes within Moatize and Tete Province.
  • A proactive attitude and a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
