Key Responsibilities
- Assist forklift operators with loading, unloading, and staging products according to established procedures.
- Manually move and stack goods, ensuring proper storage and accessibility within the warehouse.
- Verify quantities and types of products, identifying any discrepancies and reporting them to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by clearing aisles, sweeping, and disposing of waste.
- Support inventory control efforts by accurately placing and retrieving items.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and operational guidelines.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
- Assist with routine equipment checks and maintenance reporting to ensure proper functionality of warehouse tools.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout a shift.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and count items.
- Punctual and reliable, with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently when required.
