Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system (WMS).
- Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring correct items are picked, packed, and labeled.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified), to move goods.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse in a neat, orderly, and safe condition.
- Identify and report any damaged, missing, or faulty items immediately.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve inventory issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse or inventory control role.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially inventory software or data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 25kg, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
