In this crucial full-time role, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks, containers, and shelves with care and efficiency.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring quantities and item numbers match documentation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and responsibly (training provided if necessary).
- Organize and maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Stack and store goods in designated areas, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as required, contributing to accurate inventory management.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including picking, packing, wrapping, and labeling according to company standards.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards to the warehouse supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (up to 25 kg) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and fulfilling orders.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels, documents, and performing simple calculations.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all established procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a warehouse, logistics, or similar loading/unloading role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software.
- Experience operating manual or electric pallet jacks, or forklifts (certification a plus).
