Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to client specifications and dispatch schedules.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests or invoices for correctness.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar physical environment, preferably involving loading/unloading.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing goods and paperwork.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating MHE (Material Handling Equipment) such as counterbalance or reach trucks.
- Valid forklift license (training can be provided for suitable candidates).
