Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse areas, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices or other records, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, if applicable and trained.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Prepare goods for transfer or display on the sales floor.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including those related to heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and receiving areas.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (up to 25 kg).
