Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload freight by hand or using appropriate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) onto and off trucks, trailers, and within the warehouse.
- Verify count, condition, and product identification of all incoming and outgoing materials against shipping documents.
- Safely and accurately stack, organize, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner, conducting pre-shift inspections as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily operational goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed to support overall operations.
- Work consistently during assigned night hours, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies immediately to a supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs consistently) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and identifying products.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Flexibility to work night hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
