Your day-to-day will involve a variety of tasks, from receiving and organizing incoming shipments in the warehouse to strategically placing products on the sales floor. You’ll be responsible for monitoring stock levels, identifying fast-moving items, and collaborating with the management team to optimize product placement and promotional displays. This role requires physical stamina, excellent time management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory efficiently and accurately within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse area, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to safety standards.
- Transport merchandise from the warehouse to the sales floor in a timely and organized manner.
- Execute merchandising plans by stocking shelves, building displays, and arranging products according to planograms and company standards.
- Monitor stock levels on shelves and in the warehouse, identifying replenishment needs and reporting discrepancies.
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and minimize waste, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
- Assist with inventory counts and contribute to accurate record-keeping.
- Ensure promotional materials and pricing are correctly displayed.
- Provide basic assistance to customers regarding product location when on the sales floor.
- Collaborate with the store management team to optimize product visibility and sales.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and counting.
