Job Description
Shoprite Holdings Ltd. is seeking a diligent and energetic Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team in Tosing, Quthing. This is a crucial role within our supply chain operations, directly impacting our ability to serve our loyal customers efficiently and effectively. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth flow of goods from our distribution centres to our retail shelves. Your daily activities will include receiving incoming shipments, accurately stocking inventory, meticulously picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and offload incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Accurately store goods in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and space optimisation.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including loading and securing goods onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) safely and efficiently, if trained and authorised.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to the warehouse supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure operational synergy.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required to support business operations.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and count stock.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
