Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against documentation.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to client specifications and dispatch schedules.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and safety.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and potentially forklifts (if certified).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation to ensure accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and completing forms.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Valid forklift (Reach/Counterbalance) license.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
