Job Description
Shoprite Mozambique is seeking a meticulous and energetic Part-Time Warehouse Organizer to join our team in Nhangau, Beira. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and stockroom facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries against invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and damages.
- Sort, organize, and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and standards.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, reporting any issues to management.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately.
- Operate manual and, if certified, powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the retail team to ensure timely replenishment of store shelves from warehouse stock.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock or potential stock-outs.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding product handling, storage, and security.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required to support operations.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to maintain an organized work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting and moving heavy items regularly (up to 20kg).
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels, counting stock, and completing simple forms.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
