Goodfood Market is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Warehouse Packaging Line Assistants to join our team in Yonge–Eglinton. As a Packaging Line Assistant, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our delicious meal kits and grocery products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for delivery to thousands of satisfied customers across Canada. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack various food items and ingredients into designated meal kits according to specific order requirements.
- Operate and monitor packaging line equipment, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
- Perform quality checks on packaged items to ensure freshness, accuracy, and adherence to Goodfood's high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, storing, and rotating products.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Identify and report any issues with product quality, equipment, or safety immediately.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic communication skills (reading, writing, and understanding English).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or similar physically demanding role is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
