Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and label merchandise according to store orders, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Verify product counts, batch numbers, and quality upon receipt and before packing, reporting any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues immediately.
- Organize, sort, and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and stockroom areas on an ongoing basis.
- Efficiently and safely load and unload delivery trucks, utilizing appropriate material handling equipment (e.g., trolleys, pallet jacks) when necessary and if trained.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., hand pallet jacks) safely and responsibly, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other store departments to ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment to sales floors.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, operational procedures, and safety regulations, including those related to hygiene, food safety, and occupational health.
- Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts, stock checks, and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a consistently high level of productivity and accuracy throughout the day shift, meeting all assigned targets.
- Assist customers on the sales floor with general inquiries, locating products, or directing them to relevant departments when required.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) repetitively throughout the shift.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels, counting, and simple record-keeping.

- Previous professional experience in a warehouse, retail stockroom, logistics, or similar material handling environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management principles and stock rotation practices.
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other basic material handling equipment.
- Completion of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
