Key Responsibilities
- Accurately picking, packing, and scanning customer orders using handheld devices.
- Preparing packages for shipment, ensuring correct labelling, documentation, and proper handling.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with all company standards.
- Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Operating basic warehouse equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks) safely after receiving comprehensive training, if required.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily productivity and quality targets.
- Performing quality checks on items to ensure they meet Amazon's rigorous standards before dispatch.
- Assisting with inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and replenishment, as needed.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the delivery station operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods throughout a shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 15 kg (33 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong, consistent work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Basic communication skills in English (verbal) to understand instructions and communicate with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as per operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, retail, or similar fast-paced environment is a plus, but not essential.
- Basic computer literacy for accessing company systems and training materials.
- Familiarity with scanning technology or inventory management systems.
